We began building long-term technology relationships in Sri Lanka, creating the foundation for the engineering and delivery organization we have in Colombo today.

Our Colombo operation is not an external supplier or a loose network of freelancers. It is an established part of ToBeShore’s engineering and delivery organization, with local management, technical leadership and engineers working together with our Swedish organization.
This model gives customers close commercial and delivery collaboration in Sweden together with scalable engineering capability in Sri Lanka, under one ToBeShore relationship.

We work with companies that need additional engineering capability, want to build or modernize software, improve cloud and DevOps delivery, introduce AI and automation, or hand over ongoing technical operations. Engagements can range from individual specialists to broader delivery responsibility.
ToBeShore operates from Stockholm, Sweden and Colombo, Sri Lanka. Customer collaboration and delivery leadership span both locations, while our Colombo office provides established engineering capability.
They operate as one ToBeShore organization. The exact setup depends on the engagement, but customers have one delivery relationship rather than managing separate suppliers.
When we build a dedicated application for a customer, the customer owns the code and the intellectual property. Software that ToBeShore develops as its own product stays with us, and customers use it under a licence. Whichever applies is written into the agreement before the work starts.
Yes. We do not require customers to start again. We can strengthen an existing team, modernize an application, improve DevOps and cloud environments, or take responsibility for an existing system where the technology and scope are a good fit.
We can remain involved through DevOps, cloud operations, maintenance, support and continuous improvement. Customers can choose the level of ongoing responsibility they want ToBeShore to take.
We start by understanding the business need, technology, existing team and responsibilities. From there we agree on the right delivery setup, access, priorities and working model before delivery begins.
Pricing depends on the capability, responsibility and engagement model. Dedicated engineering teams, project delivery and managed services have different commercial structures. After an initial conversation we can normally recommend an appropriate setup and provide a clear commercial proposal.
